The at-bat: Base hit.
Client: Multi-location counseling practice
Change: New Christian premarital counseling page
Published: June 10, 2026
Window: June 10 to October 26, 2026
What we did
Built a dedicated page for Christian premarital counseling, a service the practice offers but had no page for. It was published alongside a Christian marriage counseling page and a page on what to expect at a first appointment.
Why we did it
I had direct access to a counselor whose specialty is marriage and family, and who does a lot of premarital counseling. That's why I wanted to ask a lot of the premarital questions. Not guessing, but from experience.
People also search for premarital counseling by name, and most of them add "Christian" to the search. Without a page, the practice had nothing that could rank for it.
What moved
- The page went from not existing to 138 clicks from Google.
- It averaged position 8.7, which is page one.
- It was shown in Google 9,091 times.
- GA4 recorded 192 sessions on the page from all sources, with a 58.9% engagement rate.
What didn't
Page one at position 8 or 9 is the bottom of page one. Most searches still don't end in a click, and the top queries sit around 1% to 2% click-through.
About the data: search numbers come from Google Search Console. Sessions come from Google Analytics 4 and include every source, not only Google. I'm not claiming any appointments came from this page.
